Inmarsat Fleet
Inmarsat Fleet F77 is the first, full-featured model in a family of new high bandwidth IP enabled global satellite systems, taking maritime communications into the 21st Century. The Fleet product range is the next generation of maritime satellite communications, having evolved from the highly successful Inmarsat A, B and M systems, but using much more lightweight stabilized antennas.
Inmarsat FleetBroadband
FleetBroadband is Inmarsat's next generation of maritime services delivered via the Inmarsat-4 satellites. The service is designed to provide the way forward for cost-effective, high-speed data and voice communications. Users will have the choice of two products. Both will use stabilized, directional antennas, which will vary in size and weight. The above deck antennas will be smaller than existing Fleet products used today. FleetBroadband is currently planned to be commercially available in the second half of 2007.
