Handheld phones weighing less than one pound and global coverage - provided by 66 low-earth-orbiting satellites - allow clients to make and receive calls virtually anywhere in the world, needing only a clear line of sight to the sky. Iridium paging services can both stand alone or complement other satellite services.
Iridium also offers clients flexible billing and flat rates for calls from anywhere to anywhere in the world. As with all Stratos services, we offer Iridium customers a fully supported International Customer Care Center, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
